Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Georgia (Tbilisi)
We will pick you up at Tbilisi airport and bring you to your hotel Accommodation: Hotel 3*
Day 2: City Tour
Our private tour starts in capital of Georgia – Tbilisi. With our English-speaking guide, you will explore the highlights of old and new city.
We will enjoy spectacular views from Metekhi church, go to ancient bath district, visit Sioni Cathedral from 17th century, as well as the oldest Church of Tbilisi – Anchiskhati, walk through narrow streets and discover hidden gems of the city.
At the evening we will drive to traditional restaurant and celebrate starting of our organized private tour in Georgia.

Day 3: City of love Signagi and wine region Kakheti
After breakfast we will drive to eastern Georgia and visit one of the most attractive town of the country - Signagi, called also “City of Love”. Signagi has an amazing position perched on a hilltop facing the snowcapped Caucasus, looming in the distance across the vast Alazani valley. The city has a vaguely Tuscan feel with its 18th- and 19th-century architecture.
After walking through Signagi we will visit the famous nunnery of Bodbe, burial ground of holy Nino, who brought Christianity in Georgia, back in 4th century.
At the afternoon we will visit a wine cellar and taste different Georgian wines. Our guide will also explain and show us, what is difference between Georgian and European method of wine making.
This night we will spend in Telavi, capital of wine region Kakheti and enjoy regional dishes with homemade wine.

Day 4: Journey to greater Caucasus
Our private tour in Georgia, will bring us today into the greater Caucasus. We will drive via Georgian military highway. This historical road was considered as a masterpiece of quality and was used both for strategic military and civilian transportation, between North and South Caucasus. Today, it offers tremendous scenery and a quick route into a very interesting region of the world - Kazbegi.
On our way we will visit firstly old capital of Georgia Mtskheta with its 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Jvari Monastery from 7th and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral from 11th century. Later we will visit Ananuri Fortress Complex, of the feudal era 15th – 17th centuries, located at Zhinvali lake.
At the evening we will arrive in Ski resort Gudauri and stay in a very comfortable hotel, at the altitude of 2.200 Meters above sea level.

Day 5: Stepantsminda and mount Kazbek
Today we will reach the Jvari Pass – the highest point of our tour in Georgia, located at the elevation of 2.400 Meters and enjoy the dramatic scenery, crystal-clear air and indescribable grandeur of the mighty Caucasus Mountains.
We will drive to the top of Mount Gergeti, to visit Holy Trinity church 14th c, located above Stepantsminda village and the same time under the beautiful peak of Kazbegi glacier.
At the afternoon we will drive through the wild dariali gorge and visit Archangel monastery, located just at the border to Russian federation.
At the evening we will drive back to Ski resort and one spend more night in Gudauri.

Day 6: Ancient cave town and kingdom of Colchis
After breakfast we will leave Gudauri in direction west and visit the oldest cave town of Caucasus – Uplistsikhe, founded in 6th century AD.
At the noon we will drive through Gori, birthplace of Diktator Stalin and if someone has interest, we can also visit his birthplace and famous railway carriage, which was used by Stalin from 1941 onwards, including his attendances at the Yalta Conference and the Tehran Conference.
At the afternoon we will get to second largest city of Georgia and historic capital of Kingdom Colchis – Kutaisi and stay in a cozy hotel, run by a local family.

Day 7: Black Sea and modern Batumi
Our private tour on Georgia will bring us today to a modern city Batumi, located at the black sea, famous for its architecture and numerous of Casinos, called also “Las Vegas of Georgia”. We will also walk-through botanical Garden of Batumi and relax at the beach of black sea.
At the evening we will drive back to Kutaisi

Day 8: Kutaisi and lesser Caucasus
Kutaisi is one of the oldest cities of Georgia with 250.000 residents. It was for many centuries capital ancient kingdom – Colchis and from 8th to 12th century, during Arab invasions capital of Georgia.
Today we will visit the highlights of the city: UNESCO World heritage site Gelati Monastery from 12th century and newly renovated Temple of Bagrati from 11th centuries.
We will also visit local market of Kutaisi, where you will find fresh vegetables, fruits, natural dairy products, meat, a variety of spices and many other local and exotic products.
At the afternoon we will get to Samtskhe-javakheti, region in lesser Caucasus known for its natural beauty, greenery and cultural monuments. Here we will visit part of new renovated Castle – Rabati, in the city of Akhaltsikhe.
At the evening we will have traditional dinner by our hosts in Akhaltsikhe.

Day 9: Cave town Vardzia and Tbilisi
Cave town of Vardzia is an ancient cave settlement in the slopes of the Lesser Caucasus in Georgia, founded in 12th by Georgian King Giorgi III and his daughter Queen Tamara. By the late 12th century, Vardzia cave town was spread over 13 levels with more than 5000 caves, living rooms, wine cellars, stables, a bakery, a pharmacy and even a library.
In the afternoon we drive across the largest lake in Georgia - Paravani. Then we continue to the former German settlement - Asureti, where Germans from Swabia have lived since the beginning of the 19th century.
Afterwards we drive back to Tbilisi and celebrate our successful trip with a dinner in a traditional restaurant with Georgian folklore.
