Weekend horse riding tour in Vashlovani

During the 2-day horse riding trip to Vashlovani you will get to know a very special place in Georgia - Vashlovani National Park. A place with nature similar to the original lunar landscape, away from civilisation.

84 square kilometre national park is located in the east of the country, on the border with neighbouring Azerbaijan and is called the hidden pearl of Georgia because of its exceptionally interesting landscape.

During the horseback ride to Vashlovani we stay in a comfortable guesthouse of a local shepherd and horse breeder and so you get the opportunity to experience the life of the local people first hand.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Vashlovani and the first riding experience

You will be picked up at your hotel in Tbilisi and taken by comfortable off-road car to Vashlovani to your guesthouse.

After a small picnic, you will receive your horses and then get familiar to the surroundings of the park together with the local horse guide.

In the evening you ride back to your guesthouse, where a delicious dinner with Georgian wine awaits you.

Day 2: Riding into the endless landscape

After breakfast, the horses are saddled up again and then it's off to the races. You will get to know and love the endless landscape of the national park with steppe, moon-like hills, slotted rocks and great views.

You can lead and gallop the horse as fast as you like.

Around 3 pm you ride back to your guesthouse and after lunch we drive to the capital Tbilisi.
