Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Gudauri Ski resort

We will pick you up either in Tbilisi, or in Kutaisi and drive directly to Gudauri. After check-in and resting in your hotel we can start exploring the most popular Ski resort of Georgia – Gudauri.

Day 2: Skiing in Gudauri

Today the ski holiday in Georgia can go on. After breakfast we will bring you to the ski slopes, organise your Ski pass and you can use the whole day for skiing in Gudauri.
At the late afternoon, we will bring you back to your hotel.

Information about Gudauri Ski resort:

Gudauri is a ski resort located on the southern slopes of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The resort is situated in the Stepantsminda District, along the Georgian Military Highway near the Cross Pass, at an elevation of 2,196 meters (7,200 ft.) above sea level.

Gudauri contains several routes and lifts. The length of total skiing track is 19km.
The first, lower lift station is at 1,990 m above sea level and the last, top station is at 3,150 m.

Day 3: Skiing in Gudauri

As on a previous day, today we can also ski on the slopes of Greater Caucasus and enjoy the feeling of freedom.

Full day lift tickets, as well transportation to the slopes and back to your hotel are included in Price.

Day 4: Drive to lesser Caucasus in Bakuriani 

Ski holiday in Georgia will brings us today to the next popular ski resort of the country – Bakuriani.

Ski resort Bakuriani, is set in the heart of the Lesser Caucasus at altitude between 1.700 and 2.800 metres above sea level. It was originally developed as an Olympic training facility and belongs to Georgia’s most popular winter sports and recreation destinations. Being an actual village Bakuriani has a reputation of family friendly resort.

There are two main slopes in Bakuriani:

1. Kokhta, with Highest Point - 2180m and Lowest Point - 1740m. Length of slope – 3,1 Km.
2. Didveli, Highest point – 2.500m and lowest point 1.800m. Length of slope – 14 Km.

There is 25 meters slope as well for very beginners.

It’s also possible to make a night skiing in Bakuriani, but only on Friday, Saturday and on Sundays. Ski resort has T-Bars, chairlifts, gondola. Most of them built in 2006 from Austrian company Doppelmayr.

Day 5: Skiing in Bakuriani

Today we can ski for whole on the slopes of lesser Caucasus and after skiing enjoy hot sauna in our hotel.

Day 6: Drive to Svaneti

The most exciting part of our Ski holiday in Georgia is just starting. We will drive to a beautiful region of the country – Svaneti, a real treasury of Georgia with mountains of amazing beauty and thousand years old defending towers, spread from village to village all over the region.

After arrival in capital of upper Svaneti – Mestia, we will use time to make small excursion around the village and also to have a look at the slopes of Ski resort.

At the evening we will enjoy a delicious traditional dinner, homemade by a local family.

Day 7: Skiing in Svaneti

Svaneti has two Ski resorts:

1. Quite small Hatsvali resort just above Mestia, with minimum elevation of 1.868 and maximal elevation 2.348 Meters. Even though Hatsvali Ski resort is pretty small, it’s still worth visiting, because of superb views over Greater Caucasus.

2. Tetnuldi Ski resort with minimum elevation of 2.260 and maximal elevation 3.165 Meters. Tetenuldi has the longest Ski tracks in South Caucasus - 9,5 km with the biggest vertical drop - 1,7 km. In total has Tetnuldi 8 Skiing tracks, with the overall length of 30 kilometers and ski resort offers four ski lifts, two open and two Bubble types of lifts, manufactured by - Poma.

After breakfast we will drive to Tetnuldi Ski resort, which is just in 15 Kilometers from Mestia, organize Ski passes for you and give you enough time to enjoy your Ski holiday in Georgia’s most exciting Ski resort.

At the evening we will pick you and bring to you accommodation, where hot shower and delicious dinner is waiting for you.

Day 8: UNESCO Village – Ushguli

After breakfast we will bring you again to Tetnuldi Ski resort and at the afternoon, if weather will be good and there will be not too much snow on the road, we will drive to UNESCO World Heritage Site and highest village of Europe – Ushguli.

At the evening we will drive back to Mestia and celebrate successful ending of our Skiing holiday in Georgia.

Day 9: Drive back to starting point

Today we will drive either to Kutaisi, or to capital of Georgia – Tbilisi, depending where you plan to fly from.
